I’m Gabriel Prynn, a cellist and passionate teacher, and I guide students of all ages and levels in Montreal and online, from complete beginners to advanced players. I love helping my students progress technically and musically, while nurturing their joy of playing and curiosity for music.

 

As a founding member of Trio Fibonacci, based in Montreal, I also perform as a soloist and guest artist in prestigious venues across North America and beyond. My career has allowed me to work with contemporary composers and contribute to the creation of over sixty new works.​

I have taught at Ohio University and given masterclasses at renowned international institutions. I hold a Doctorate in Music from the University of Montreal, and I studied with masters such as Clive Greensmith, David Finckel, and the Alban Berg Quartet. I continue to collaborate with artists around the world.
